The Colquitt County Row Crop Weed Management Meeting was last week and Dr. Stanley Culpepper informed area cotton growers about new developments in weed control. Below is a pdf of the of the handout for weed control programs. The handout discusses four steps in developing a weed control program in cotton. These steps include starting clean, using pre emerge herbicides, sequential post emerge herbicide applications and the additional of layby applications.
