I am planning to do a webinar on Friday, March 28, at 10:00 am EDT with a review of last year’s climate and a look ahead to the 2025 growing season. It will focus on Georgia but will also cover the Southeast more generally. Some of the things it will include are a look at the 2024 hurricanes that affected agriculture in the region, the ENSO status and what it is expected to be this year, and the Climate Prediction Center outlook for summer and beyond. It was originally planned to be offered as an Extension training but I am opening it up to others who might be interested. I will also try to record it so people can view it later. The Zoom information is below. You will enter into a waiting room and will be admitted when the webinar starts.
