The final outlook for the June 2024 climate was issued late last week by NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. It shows that a lot of the region does not have a strong climate signal for June, but Florida and southern Alabama lean towards warmer than normal conditions and Alabama is more likely than the rest of the region to be wetter than normal. Because of the warm conditions in Florida, the drought there is expected to persist through June.
