The latest monthly climate report for the United States was released today by NOAA. It shows that for the first three months of the year, the average temperature for five of the Southeastern states was the warmest since records began in 1895. Alabama just missed out with the second warmest on record. Precipitation was near normal in a lot of the region except for the Florida Peninsula and eastern Virginia.
