As you may know, Ukraine and surrounding countries are considered the”Breadbasket of Europe”. One of the problems with the war there has been the inability to get out last year’s crop to make space for the new crop that is about to be harvested now. I thought these two stories about farming in Ukraine and Romania gave a good picture of how farmers are responding to conditions there.
