As a former State Climatologist of Wisconsin and a former assistant State Climatologist of Georgia, I am very proud of state climatologists around the country, many of whom also run weather networks like I do and who provide service to a wide array of stakeholders on a daily basis. I am pleased to note that the State of Tennessee has a new State Climate Office after many years of not having an official State Climatologist. They have a new web site too, and you can visit it and learn more at https://www.etsu.edu/cas/geosciences/tn-climate/. Congratulations and welcome to State Climatologist Andrew Joyner and Assistant State Climatologist William Tollefson!
