AJC: County highlights Georgia’s worrying gaps in storm preparations

This story from the Atlanta Journal Constitution describes how many of Georgia’s counties are not adequately prepared for severe weather by looking at Randolph County in southwest Georgia and the challenges they face with a small rural population and low tax base. For example, they have to deal with questions like where residents can flee from tornadoes when most live in mobile homes and have no shelters handy. You can read the story here.
