This morning’s 7 day QPF map shows a band of heavy rain along the East Coast of the US. This mirrors this morning’s expected path of Hurricane Dorian along the coast. If that happens, then some areas near the coast could see as much as ten inches. But if you’ve been paying attention, you know that the path has been changing over time (as it often does), so if the path moves eastward the band of heavy rain is also like to shift east. If the path moves back towards the west, then more rain will fall along the coast. If you are away from Dorian, you should see little to no rain this week.
