Yesterday’s severe weather outbreak netted a bunch of tornadoes (21 as yet unconfirmed) and many reports of straight-line wind damage.  Today people will be cleaning up from those messes.  But they should also be preparing for Wednesday’s two or three rounds of what could be even more widespread severe weather, with a higher likelihood of strong tornadoes.  Don’t assume that because you got missed by Monday’s storms that you will get missed again tomorrow.  And don’t assume that once the first line of storms goes past you are out of the woods.  The first line could come through in the morning, the second in afternoon and potentially a third round tomorrow evening, so you could even get hit more than once.  Don’t let your guard down!

Here’s an article from James Spann about the storm situation, particularly its impacts on Alabama: https://www.alabamawx.com/?p=130663.
