All eyes among my meteorologist friends as well as many others are on the tropics as Hurricane Matthew moves north through the Bahamas today headed towards the Southeast.  If you live within 100 miles of the coast, I hope you have made preparations for the storm, which is likely to be the worst that most people there have ever experienced if it makes landfall.  Here are a couple of useful maps describing two impacts of the storm. Remember that both of these impact maps are likely to change as the path of the hurricane is updated, since both of them are tied to the current predicted track of the storm.
