The latest 7-day QPF for the Southeast shows that most of the region will receive above-normal precipitation for the next few days.  Rain is starting to enter the area this morning and overnight Saturday into Sunday there should be quite a bit moving through the region.   After the cold front moves through on Sunday, most of the rain is expected to fall in southern Alabama and Georgia and on into northern Florida.  The only dry spot will be south Florida around Miami, which has missed a lot of the active weather this winter.  This rain should help to eliminate any abnormally dry conditions that are left around the Southeast as well as the moderate drought in south Alabama.
