Modern Farmer had an interesting report this week on the peach market in the European Union.  Peach production increased due to temperate weather early in the season but was blunted due to a late cold snap.  Peach wars between countries have broken out, with the French producers accusing Spanish farmers of flooding the market, reducing prices.  Meanwhile, the Russians embargoed food imports into the country on August 7, leaving farmers with few options for selling their crop.  For more information, click here.
