All Animal Waste Systems Operators must receive 4 hours of continuing education units (CEUs) every 2 years to maintain certification. Educational events must pertain to nutrient/animal waste management or environmental topic, and must be approved by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
Certified operators should complete two CEU record forms for each CEU eligible training attended and keep one for their records and submit a copy to the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
