The Livestock show and pig sale went really well. Thank you to those who came out and participated. We had the highest average ever for our pig sale, it was a great night. This week it’s short and sweet
Peanuts: Most are either done or getting close. I would expect peanuts to be finishing up within the next 2 weeks.
Cotton: Cooler temps mean you need to watch your defoliants. The UGA 3-way will still work but several people have been having good lunch with Ginstar or ET. If you use ET don’t forget to add 1% v/v crop oil
Herbicides: You probably already know and I’ve already talked with several of you about this but Roundup and Liberty will more than likely be in short supply next year. There may be more to come so listen out. One thing I will say is don’t freak out, we have several good chemistries that work great for weed control. I’m about 95% sure that our herbicide programs will look a little different next year.
