Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

I was looking through the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Farm State of Mind page (which you should check out—it has all sorts of great resources for wellness and thriving), when I read this quote–“When you feel better, you farm better.”
Then I saw that this quote was connected with an online peer-to-peer support network, with a group just for farmers! When a farmer needs support, there is no one better to talk to than another farmer.
This network, which is called Togetherall, is an anonymous peer-to-peer online community that makes it simple for farmers and their families to get and give support. It was created and is funded by The Farm Family Wellness Alliance—and this is a group that knows farming. They’re partners made up of the Farm Foundation, the American Farm Bureau Federation, 4H, National Farmers Union, Agriculture Future of America, National FFA Organization, Farm Credit, CoBank, Land O’Lakes, Iowa Farm Bureau, and CHS.
Togetherall is a supportive community, with a specific Agricultural Group. It is anonymous, and you can call 24/7 to connect with others who understand your stress. The community is moderated around the clock by real, live, licensed clinicians. The site also has some great wellbeing tools, like self-assessments and courses to help you cope.
And, if you don’t need support right now, you can still sign up and talk with another farmer who is struggling with something that you’ve experienced in the past. This is a chance to give, not just to get, help. You can watch this video to learn more.
Togetherall is another part of your inventory that helps keep you thriving on the farm. I hope you’ll check it out!
