It is the holiday season and that means many different things to us.  Hunting, Football, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Agricultural Production Updates.  Every year beginning in the fall and continuing into Spring County Extension Agents, coordinate and host production updates.  The goal of these meetings is to give farmers the latest information, research and tools to use in the upcoming growing season.  UGA specialists and others in the industry share new varieties, improvements in pest control and updates on fertility all to help growers across the southeast be more profitable and better stewards of the resources that they have.

in our area we team up with surrounding counties to bring in the best specialists to give our growers the information that they desire.  Many of theses meetings are already on our calendars and there are additional opportunities provided on a state or regional level.  Here are some of the upcoming training’s.
