Georgia DNR updates their deer management plan every 5-6 years, and the time for them to update the deer management plan has arrived. As a part of this, they have developed an online survey to gather input (link below). It is rather long, but there are important parts to this survey where I believe you all can provide useful input to DNR on this issue. Interestingly, questions 21-25 directly address deer damage to agricultural crops.

Many of you have expressed to me that you believe white-tailed deer are a threat to agriculture in the county. DNR is asking for input, so I would encourage you all to fill this survey out. Provide constructive thoughts/criticisms/suggestions on how to improve things, because just complaining will not help them come up with a realistic solution.
