It’s that time of year again! Can you smell the popcorn or the livestock sawdust? Can you hear the laughter or announcement of winners as youth earn prizes for their exhibits? It’s fair season in Georgia and around the country, which is a common time for 4-H’ers to show off their hard work, and creativity, and have fun!

Of course, the former makes for a great time to celebrate 4-H nationally! This year National 4-H Week will be October 1-7, 2023. We hope you will plan a special activity for youth during National 4-H Week, post about 4-H on your social media outlets, and consider partnering with your local 4-H counties. This year’s theme is “I love 4-H”! There are lots of fun crafts littles can do during their 4-H club meeting to celebrate or perhaps a photo contest to match the theme for older youth. The Middle Schoolers could create a short YouTube video highlighting why they Love 4-H at XYZ Installation or perhaps create a mixed-media representation. The ideas are endless! Reach out if you need to brainstorm ideas or if you need assistance with connecting with your local 4-H representative.
