The Georgia 4-H Foundation is pleased to share details regarding the 2023 Georgia 4-H Holiday Card Design Contest. The contest rules and entry form are included. Please review the guidelines before promoting and coordinating this activity with your group. We’ve also attached a flier and graphics to aid in the promotion of this contest through your social media channels, onsite advertisement walls, and the like. As in previous years, the Foundation will accept scanned entries via email. Please note, that entries must be original drawings, paintings, etc. Digitally created entries will not be accepted.
Ideas for Incorporating the Activity:Base staff can conduct this as an independent free-time choice activity. In some centers, youth can choose activities in the afternoon. During the week provide this as one of the free time optional activities. Alternatively, staff can use this activity as a 4-H club time activity. Go ahead and conduct your regular 4-H business and then use this activity as your club learning time. Lastly, this can be an activity you promote on social media and your website for teens and children who do not regularly attend afterschool programs. This can be a simple way to engage with families who might use the centers only during holidays.
