UGA Extension staff currently serving or planning to serve military audiences,
The North Carolina State University CYFAR team is excited to offer an encore for the Comeback Together Regional Meeting Tour. The training aims to educate extension professionals on how to serve military audiences. Thanks to the Texas 4-H Military Partnership, Extension staff from all over are invited to come to San Antonio from Wednesday, January 25 – Thursday, January 26, 2023.
The Comeback Together Meeting is open to all Extension professionals and staff who work with military-connected youth and families across the nation. Registration is at no cost to participants and includes most travel, meals, and lodging associated with the event.
Georgia 4-H staff have participated in the Colorado and Georgia conference locations, so far. Attendees in the spring found the training very beneficial and learned a great deal about supporting their work in military communities along with general tools.
For all of the details and registration, visit www.4-hmilitarypartnership.org . Please register before the end of the calendar year. Remember to speak with your local and district supervisors before registering. Feel free to speak with Laura Goss about the benefits of attending and funding for the 2-day training. The funding for this project is provided by USDA through a grant agreement with North Carolina State University and is not managed by Georgia 4-H or UGA.
