What’s cooler than a U.S. Space Force Guardian providing a STEM program for your 4-H’ers and youth members?  No, seriously … tell me what’s cooler than U.S. Space Force Guardian providing a STEM program for your youth … because that would be awesome, right?!?  Read below!

The U.S. Space Force (USSF) is excited to celebrate its second birthday on December 20, 2021!  Last year, USSF began the “STEM to Space” campaign where USSF Guardians and supporting Airmen participated in classroom engagements (in-person and virtual) across the country.  This year, they plan to do it again!

STEM to Space is designed to facilitate engagement with school classrooms, led by or military and civilian Guardians and Airmen. The goal is to raise awareness and highlight the importance of STEM disciplines in space, as well as the USSF’s service contributions to national security and daily life.  The program will be implemented throughout the month of December.

While the STEM to Space is marketed towards formal educators (classroom teachers), they are willing to support all youth-serving organizations!

If you do participate in STEM to Space, please let me know – quick e-mail, photos, etc.  I would LOVE to hear about your experience!

Take Care,
Kasey
