The Georgia Collegiate 4-H Clubs from universities across the state host Weekend in the Classic City yearly to high school teens. Teens have the opportunity to experience college life during their stay in Athens. Collegiate 4-H’ers share resources, personal college stories, and led youth throughout the event. Generally, there are finical advisors to educate youth on the expense and scholarships available to high school teens. Also, talks on how to apply to college are discussed. Youth will also have the opportunity to connect with other teens preparing to go to college.

If you plan to take youth from your military installation let a military 4-H staff person know in case we can assist you. Also, don’t hesitate to collaborate with your 4-H county office who might also have a group attending.
