Delivering Great Presentations: UPDATED Advanced Training Course for MGEVs!

  • What: Advanced Training to increase MGEV knowledge and skills in presenting as part of the GA MGEV Speakers’ Bureau
  • Where: Hybrid model: two online Zoom sessions and one in person session in Paulding County at Parks and Recreation Center
  • When: Online, Zoom sessions on 6/17/25 from 2:00-3:30 pm and 7/8/25 from 2:00-3:30 pm
  • and an in-person session 7/18/25 from 11 am – 2 pm in Paulding County
  • What to Expect: Current, active MGEVs will attend two virtual sessions and entire in-person class and complete class activities to earn Advanced Training credit (attendance of all THREE dates required to receive AT credit)
  • We’ll Learn About: This is a new Advanced Training for Master Gardeners who are or want to be part of the Speakers’ Bureau in their county. This training provides space to review and refresh public speaking techniques while also exploring how to plan an educational presentation series. We will meet twice online to go over training content, then meet in person for practice and feedback. You do not have create a presentation to participate (prepared presentations will be available), but participants are expected to practice delivering a presentation. Speakers of all experience levels are welcome! Registration includes virtual sessions, lunch, snacks, and class materials for in-person session. AT Category: Required (R)
