A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

I hope everyone is staying safe in the wake of the covid-19 outbreak. The UGA Campus is closed but we are still open for normal business. We have been told to follow the direction of our local county government, so we will remain open until they tell us differently.

No matter what decisions UGA or our County Government make, I will be available to assist with planting decisions, variety selection, herbicide decisions and any other needs from our agricultural community. As far as I know, our diagnostic labs and soil lab are remaining open as well.

Our state leaders and department of agriculture are working to find a solution for training growers who still need the Using Pesticides Wisely training. There are several trainings scheduled across the state that have been put on hold for now. I assure you that a solution will be determined to get the training to those who are in need. If you have questions, as always, call your County Agent.
