Form A, the application for those WITHOUT prior experience as counselors in the Georgia 4-H summer camping program, can be found at the link below. The deadline for submitting Form A is Friday, November 17, 2023. Please keep these points in mind as you prepare to apply:
- To comply with UGA student worker guidelines, all counselors are required to be enrolled as a student in both the semester before and after the summer they serve as a counselor. The student worker enrollment requirement is satisfied by enrollment in high school or at least half-time enrollment at any institute of higher education (in state, out-of-state, technical college or school, private school, USG institution, undergraduate or graduate school).
- Prospective counselors should not complete this application if they do not intend to be enrolled as a student during the 2024 spring and fall semesters as described above.
- Proof of enrollment may be required before applicants are hired as counselors.
- Georgia 4-H summer camp counselors must have graduated from high school, and we greatly prefer that applicants have graduated by Sunday, May 26, 2024, to serve as a counselor in our program.
