Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. To help increase awareness, each year we promote a Radon Poster Contest in Georgia with the winning entry being submitted to the National Radon Poster Contest. The poster contest is open to children ages 9 to 14. There will be cash prizes for the top three posters. All posters must be received by NOVEMBER 20, 2023.
Attached you will find two PDF files. The Radon Poster Guidelines contains information about the contest, poster topics, eligibility and artwork requirements, as well as the judging criteria. The Artwork Submission form should include the participant’s personal information and be taped to the back of the poster.
First, second and third place winners will be invited to an event in January where they will receive awards. The first-place winner’s poster will be sent to the National Radon Poster Contest.
