Who should join Georgia ANREP?

Georgia ANREP is a state association for Cooperative Extension Service (CES) professionals working in environmental education, fisheries, forestry, wood sciences, range, recreation, waste management, water, wildlife, energy and related disciplines. Members are active and retired CES employees at the county, area, state, or national level. Watch this short video to learn more about Georgia ANREP!

2025 Conference Information

The Georgia Association of National Resource Extension Professionals (ANREP) is hosting their annual conference on August 28-29, 2025, in northeast Georgia!  ANYONE can participate in the conference … and we hope to see you for a few days of learning and networking related to forestry, wildlife and fisheries, environmental education, water, and more!  If you aren’t an ANREP member, we’d love to have you join us: https://www.anrep.org/join_renew.php.  Attached is the conference information, schedule at-a-glance, and an updated save-the-date flier!

Hotel (until August 13)

Attendees can reserve their hotel rooms at the Hampton Inn in Cornelia by visiting the website: https://www.hilton.com/en/attend-my-event/2025gaanrepconference/.  

  • The website will default to a 2-night stay – checking in on August 27 and checking out on August 29.  
  • The main conference will be August 28 (beginning at 9am) and August 29 (ending at 12:30pm).  There is an optional pre-conference activity and dinner on August 27.  

Conference Registration (until August 15)

Conference registration is live at https://tinyurl.com/ga-anrep-register.  

  • The $90 registration fee for members covers all meals and snacks (hot breakfast provided by hotel), field trip to the Foxfire Museum, and additional conference expenses.
  • The registration fee for non-members and Master Naturalists is $100. 
  • All attendees should select a “free ticket” to note if they are or are not attending the field trip on Thursday afternoon.

Posters & Presentations 

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to present short talks and posters related to their natural resources work.

  • Posters: Presenters should bring their own floor-standing easels & boards for display. 

Master Naturalists

We encourage counties with Master Naturalists to promote this opportunity to them.  They are welcome to attend and participate in all workshops and sessions.  Priority registration will be given to ANREP members, but we don’t anticipate having to turn anyone away.
