UGA Extension is currently accepting registration for our Fall 2025 cohorts. Upcoming cohorts are listed below along with contact information for each coach; please contact the coach for the cohort you are interested in joining so they can keep you updated on the meeting location and schedule. Space in each cohort is limited and interested participants meeting eligibility requirements will be prioritized. As a reminder, eligibility requirements for this program are:

  • Adult aged 18+ with a BMI of 25 or greater (23 or greater for people of Asian descent)
  • Not previously diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
  • High risk of prediabetes determined by blood work from your healthcare provider, a history of gestational diabetes, OR a score of 5 or greater on the prediabetes risk test

Some coaches may offer informational sessions prior to their cohort beginning and that info is included below where applicable. Attending an info session is encouraged to prepare you for success in this yearlong program. More information about the program is available on our website.
