IFAS/University of Florida is offering a series of webinars this spring on preparing for and recovering from hurricanes and other weather disasters. The next one up is a webinar on preparing for hurricanes for forest landowners. It will be on June 3 at 2 pm ET. Just in time for hurricane season! If you have been hit by storms in the past few years and want to be prepared for this year’s active season, now is the time to get ready. They are also offering a webinar later in August on recovery, which may also be interesting to you. You can read more about it and sign up at https://nwdistrict.ifas.ufl.edu/phag/2021/04/09/timber-hurricane-preparation-recovery-webinar-series-april-15-june-3-august-26/.
