I subscribe to a number of weather blogs across the country, and found a couple of forecasts for the Southeast that do a good job of describing the expected conditions for this winter.

Brad Panovich of WCNC in Charlotte provides a graphics-filled outlook that explains the impacts of El Niño on the winter weather patterns to be expected in that part of the Southeast.  It will be most applicable to the areas near Charlotte NC but there is plenty of general information on El Niño that may be helpful to all.

AccuWeather provided a descriptive forecast that describes the general weather patterns to be expected this winter.
