Here are a couple of resources I have seen recently that could be good for teachers or extension agents.
Web Weather for Kids is a web site with information on basic weather produced by the University Center for Atmospheric Research (UCAR). It contains information on various types of severe weather and helps kids to understand how weather forecasts are made. You can visit it at https://eo.ucar.edu/webweather/.
The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago has put together a good and comprehensive list of weather and climate frequently asked questions which might be useful to those of you who find yourself explaining what the difference between weather and climate is or how ozone and acid rain are related to greenhouse warming.
