The National Weather Service’s Southeast River Forecast Center Outlook is now available on YouTube. It’s about ten minutes long and covers both short and long-term water conditions, including drought, floods, and tropical storms as well as La Niña. One of the more interesting things in the outlook was the model results from the European model, which suggest that we may not go into a La Niña but hover in neutral conditions, which could affect our winter outlook. Only one model, but it indicates that the long-term predictions are not as sure as we might believe.
