A new blog on El Nino-Southern Oscillation (better known as ENSO) is now available from NOAA at https://www.climate.gov/news-features/department/8443/all.  This blog will provide background information and current discussion about the status of El Nino and La Nina as well as descriptions of its impact across the United States and the world.  ENSO has big impacts on the Southeast, and climatologists here watch it closely to give guidance on climate conditions in the coming months.  A fact sheet on ENSO and its impacts on agriculture in the Southeast can be found by clicking here.
