Here is another very useful post for someone who wants more weather information before they plan a trip. It was written by Alicia Wasula of STM Weather and is available at https://www.stmweather.com/blog/how-to-plan-a-trip-like-a-meteorologist. It provides a lot of resources for looking at the likely weather conditions in advance for packing purposes as well as deciding what activities you might want to do. You should also check on the forecasts in the week before the trip to make sure you take the likely weather into account.
