While June 1 seems like a long time from now, spring will pass quickly, so it is time to start thinking about hurricane planning. I am sure that by now you all have your inventories and hurricane evacuation plans in place or will soon! Here are some recent stories about the upcoming hurricane season and hurricane climatology that you might find useful.

A table of probabilities of named storms and hurricanes hitting different segments of the Southeast coast from Colorado State University is at https://tropical.colostate.edu/TC_impact.html.
