Two separate strong storm systems are expected to impact the Southeast this week. The first one will move through the region on Sunday, bringing not only heavy rain but also a good chance of severe weather across Alabama, Georgia and points east. After a break for a couple of days, another system will move through mid- to late week, bringing another chance of severe weather and more rain. Not much chance to make hay this week! Once again southern Florida will get bypassed by these systems, leading to a potential increase in drought there as their heat continues.
