The latest QPF map shows that most areas of the Southeast will get a good bit of rain in the next week. Most of the rain is likely to fall this weekend as a strong front pulls close to the area and then moves through on Sunday. Many parts of the region could hear some thunder and some severe weather is possible. By Tuesday the rain should be through the area except for southern Florida. Late in the week some showers are likely to return to the region. Weeks 2 through 4 look like more normal rainfall, with the highest likelihood of wet conditions in the southern half of Florida.
