The latest 7-day QPF map shows that everywhere in the Southeast is likely to see some rain this week. Over the next few days, the heaviest rain will follow the path of the low that is currently moving over South Carolina towards the northeast. Mid-week will be fairly dry everywhere except in Florida. Then rain chances increase towards the end of the month, especially in the northern parts of the region. Note the complete lack of rain over most of Texas due to the strong high-pressure center there, while the Southwest Monsoon brings rain to New Mexico and Arizona and Colorado.
