I’ve been tied up with training and grant-writing this week, but have been getting lots of questions about the potential for wintry weather in northern Georgia and adjacent areas this weekend. I will take a more detailed look tomorrow, but thought I would share a couple of related websites that might be helpful. I think it is too early for a highly detailed forecast at this point, but it seems like ice, snow, and cold rain will hit many areas of the Southeast from northeast Alabama and northern Georgia to the northeast on Saturday and Sunday, so if you are traveling, be especially aware of potential hazardous weather.
