The latest monthly climate summary for the US for October 2021 was released earlier this week by NOAA. The data show that October 2021 was the sixth warmest since records began in 1895. It was also the 9th wettest October, thanks to some strong storms, especially out West (although not much tropical contribution from Atlantic storms this month in the Southeast, since it was very quiet compared to other recent Octobers).
