The latest 7-day QPF map shows that almost all of the region is expected to get less than a quarter inch of rain this week. The only exceptions are in parts of Alabama and the east coast of North Carolina, which could get up to half an inch. The rain should be out of the region by Tuesday night, leaving dry conditions for the rest of the week. Relatively cool conditions should continue to occur into week 2, although rain chances increase again.
