The latest 7-day QPF shows that most of the country will see no rain at all this week, including Election Day on Tuesday. The exceptions are rain in the Pacific Northwest later in the week as well as some light rain along the East Coast. So the weather this year will not be an excuse not to vote. So just do it if you have not already! Meanwhile, the dry and sunny conditions should help farmers continue to harvest their crops. The tropics have one storm, which is likely to become Eta in a day or two, but that storm is expected to move west into Central America and should not affect us in the Southeast.
