As you know, we are entering the height of the Atlantic hurricane season, and things are starting to look more active. This is especially true this year because of the convergence of several factors which are all favorable for the development of more storms. With two storms about to develop in the Atlantic in the next few days and another wave coming off the coast of Africa in the same time period, we could soon be in the situation of having multiple active storms at once, although any of them may or may not affect the Southeast or even the US. Could we see another image like the one below from 2017, or one from 2005 with four storms at once? We will see.
