The North Carolina Climate Office posted an article today putting the April 13th tornado outbreak of 2020 (which occurred across the Southeast) in historical context. North Carolina reported 16 tornadoes in the outbreak from a total of 132 tornadoes across the Southeast, which is one of the days with the highest numbers in their state’s weather history.
