Strong high pressure is expected to dominate the weather in the Southeast this coming week. No rain at all is expected until late in the week, and then only light amounts of less than 1/10th of an inch are predicted. Temperatures should be above normal, which could combine with the lack of rainfall to produce water stress on some crops. Good hay-making weather, though! Farmers in the Corn Belt won’t be so lucky, though, with heavy rain causing problems for farmers trying to get their crops in.
