Visit this site to see how the different weather models vary over time

Here is an interesting site that shows what your weather will be like over the next few days by plotting the results of several different weather models side by side. When the models agree, the lines are all close together, indicating good agreement. When they diverge, then you know the models are less certain. In the example below, there is pretty good agreement about temperature out to about five days, and then there is an increasing amount of difference between models. That indicates that after several days it will be hard to get a good read on what the weather is likely to be. You might like to test it out in different parts of the US to see which areas (like perhaps southern California) where they can forecast successfully for a longer period than New England.
