Here’s an interesting video which shows an effort by NOAA scientists and the Army Corps of Engineers to reduce damage to a salt marsh near Camp Lejeune along the East Coast of North Carolina. By restoring the salt marshes to good condition, they are reducing the impacts of rising sea levels and helping to protect the coast from the impacts of storm surges.
