UPDATE: As of 11 pm this storm will be named Tropical Storm Julia.  It is now located near St. Augustine FL and is continuing to slowly move north.  See https://www.nhc.noaa.gov for updates.

Investigation 93L is currently spinning near Daytona Beach, Florida and bringing heavy rain to southeastern Georgia and the east coasts of Florida and South Carolina.  It has become organized enough that it may be declared a tropical storm later today.  Up to several inches of heavy rain is expected to affect most of southern Georgia and northern Florida over the next week, falling in areas recently impacted by Hurricane Hermine.  Since the system is not well organized and is moving slowly, the future path of the storm is not well known at this time, but producers across southern Georgia as well as Florida and South Carolina should watch for updates as the storm drifts north over the next few days before it moves out to the northeast.
