The latest outlook from the Climate Prediction Center show that for both September and for fall (September through November), warmer and drier than normal conditions are likely to continue in most of the Southeast.  This could be good or bad news for farmers, since continued warm and dry conditions may make it difficult to grow forage or complete crop growth, but could help farmers once harvest starts.  This is one of the first seasonal forecasts in which the entire continental US is showing an increased chance of above normal temperatures.
