When most people think of meteorologists, they think of someone on television cracking jokes about the weather and waving their hands in front of moving weather graphics.  Or they think of someone chasing tornadoes, even though many chasers do not have degrees in meteorology and are more thrill-seekers than scientists.

But meteorologists do many other things as well, including air quality monitoring, agricultural forecasting and severe storm protection.  If you know of someone who is interested in what meteorologists do, here are a few resources for you.  All of these are recorded CoCoRaHS presentations that last for about an hour except for the first one, which is text on a web site.
